The Brief

Planning consent was achieved in December 2019 for the  alteration and extension to Eastgate House at Manors, Newcastle upon Tyne. The existing brick office building with pitched roof had been empty for some time and  consent had previously been granted for the demolition and replacement. The proposal was to add two floors including a roof terrace with views to the south across the Tyne valley.

The  building was to be re-clad and and a new entrance formed , and the interior re-modelled to achieve  flexible and adaptable workspaces.
