The Brief

Purpose built student accommodation in the heart of Bournemouth’s university area comprises of 430 beds in a mixture of cluster flats and studios. The development gained outline planning at appeal at which point the scheme was taken over by the client and we subsequently gained full planning consent.     

The building is being constructed using insitu concrete frame formed by slip form techniques and will be complete in an 18 month build programme ready for the 2019 academic year. The building features a common room and reception area at ground floor,  a sky lounge on floors 16 and 17, and a sky garden on the roof with amazing panoramic views out to sea and inland.   

The building has been designed to achieve BREEAM very good standard and will be one of the tallest developments in Bournemouth.
